Osechi ryori (Japanese New Year’s food) in Kyoto. A feast consisting of home-made osechi, store-bought (Kyo Ryori Sensho)osechi, and sea bream sashimi. 🍱🍣 Truly enjoyed various kinds of flavors😍 Would love to incorporate some flavors into Harmonious Kitchen dishes!

After the feast, took a long walk along Yamashina Sosui Canal to visit the Bishamon-do-do Temple for the first visit of the New Year ⛩ praying for Harmonious Kitchen’s success in 2023!
Free Amazake (fermented rice drink) at the temple was delicious, too😊 It was a nice relaxing day of a balanced diet and moderate exercise🍱🚶

久しぶりの日本でのお節料理です😊手作りお節，京料理せんしょうのおせち，そして頂き物の鯛のお造り🍱🍣｡沢山の種類と味が楽しめてとっても美味しく参考になりました｡

お腹がいっぱいになったところで，山科疏水を散歩して毘沙門堂に初詣⛩ 2023年がHarmonious Kitchenにとって発展の年になるようにお祈りしてきました‼️参拝客に振る舞われた甘酒も美味しかったです！バランスの取れた食事と適度な運動になったかな？

One customer at the Chevy Chase Farmers Market liked our lotus root kimpira so much ☺️ that she asked if we would provide a family style catering for her backyard party. 🏠🎉 Her initial plan was for 30 guest but ended up with 60 guests! 😮 Due to COVID-19, it has been a long time since we last provided any catering services. 😔 However, we are happy to report that it was a great success! 😆Thank you so much Ronni and Mike for choosing us as a caterer for your great party!!! 🙇‍♀️

Thank you for letting us come and share food samples at the 2022 Sherman Circle Spooktacular🎃❣️we were amazed there were so many people❗️Vegan snowball cookies and lotus root kimpira were so popular, they were gone in less than 30 min. Smiling faces made no us so happy😻in fact, we were so focused on chatting and handing out food, forgot to take pictures💦We also did origami folding with kids. It was very windy and cold! 🌬🥶Nonetheless, a lot of people came to see our onigiri workshop and to the TFT’s onstage event.🥳☺️

新記録達成！ワシントン日本語学校に60個のお弁当をお届けしました。（日本語は英語の後に続きます）

We delivered 60 bento boxes (a combination of ground beef cutlet and Karaage chicken) with snowball cookies on Sunday, March 13 to the Washington Japan Language School. 😁 This is our largest order of bento box ever to date. 😆 The order was so big that we couldn’t place all bento boxes on our small kitchen tables! 😮 So we divided the work in half. ➗ We planned and worked together efficiently, and finished earlier than scheduled!!! 😎 We had a sense of accomplishment and had a lot of fun together. 👩‍🍳

3月13日（日）にワシントン日本語学校に60個のお弁当（メンチカツと唐揚げ）とクッキーをお届けしました。Harmonious Kitchen設立以来の新記録です！😆🎉 小さなキッチンのテーブルに60個すべて並べられなかったので、半分に分けて作業しました。➗ 事前に計画を立てて、とても効率的に作業ができたので、予定よりも早く作業を終えることができました。😎 達成感を感じるとともに、キッチンメンバー全員で作業を楽しむことができました。👩‍🍳☺️
