【本格的和食店「光」でスタッフ食事会】 Staff Lunch Meeting at Ko Japanese Dinning in DuPont Circle Harmonious Kitchen Team had a lunch meeting at Ko Japanese Dinning just opened on June 1st in DuPont Circle. Less than 1 min walk from the metro station (20th & Q St). Truly authentic Japanese cuisine just like in Japan. Especially, light and crispy tempura with special salt is a dish to die for!❗️Egg omelette with wasabi was a new taste experience for us. You can’t go wrong with any dishes. Everything so delicious, easy both on the stomach and wallet. This is the 2nd time we catered GWU JapanFest. We love repeated customers❣️Making 100 bento boxes is a lot of work. Still we managed to have fun working together in a small kitchen. We introduced our latest menu item: vegan steamed buns. We also provided a little more upscale catering services, using Shokado bento box and Japanese lacquerware. We are outgrowing the current commercial kitchen. 【最後の木曜日の配達滞りなく終了しました】Successfully completed our final Thursday deliveries! We successfully completed the final deliveries by ourselves last week without issues, selling out already on Tuesday! 50 bento boxes, a la carte dishes, frozen foods and granolas. One of our regular customers/friends summarized well for us: “What a wonderful way to close this program and what a powerful testimony of how popular your food is. One door closes so that the next one can open.” - B.D. Many of our customers greeted us at their doors. We were touched by their kind gestures.🥰 We started our Thursday delivery service because of the COVID pandemic. We didn’t know then, but it was the best way to connect with customers. We are working hard to find a new way including a storefront. Stay tuned!
